Short version:
Aleksand is, in all universes I play her in, a small, criminally-inclined woman with an affinity for dragonkin, and frequently an Actual Dragon bonded to her. In the XaaaCi setting, she is the leader of a group of Pernese organized crime called the Wher Lords and has the ability to cast spells through song, and she is 71 turns old; she Impressed Puelath in the stands and spent most of her weyrlinghood trying to get back to leading the Wher Lords. In more standard Pern settings, she's a former highwayman who left a life of crime behind entirely because she Impressed Puelath while keeping her head down with her parters in crime, and is closer to 34 turns old. She is always an impulsive asshole and always has a long history of bad decision-making, and basically is adhd.txt in human form.

Puelath is a noncanon breeding female; by default, she is a smaller reddish queen-type called a "Jasper", which in XaaaCi's setting means she is capable of mild mind control (in theory). She is a more externally hospitable and kind person than Aleksand (who she affectionately refers to as "bandit"), but is still kind of an asshole who tends toward manipulation. She tries to keep Aleksand from acting on her worst impulses and is generally the one who actually plans for the long term. She looks like this. Size comparison with Aleksand.

Sometimes they have a green firelizard named Murderbeast. Murderbeast lives up to her name.

Puelath

Personality: Cunning, manipulative, vain, and prideful, but genuinely compassionate and hospitable. Quick to anger, but usually lashes out verbally rather than physically; doesn't stay angry for long. She's fierce and willful and when she gets an idea in her head it's a good idea to stay the hell out of the way. Loyal to a fault. She's mostly just tolerant of most of her "lackeys", but she's very affectionate with those she actually likes. If a dragon has a virgin Flight, she will make every effort to be involved, even if she later shows no interest in them. Doesn't otherwise act like a lech and will leave someone alone if they express discomfort or disinterest. Generally tries to keep Aleksand's behavior in the "socially acceptable" range. This is significantly more difficult than it sounds.

Appearance: Quite delicate, with unusually long forelegs that make her hopping look somewhat deer-like. Mostly a deep, rich dark rubycolor with a bright red spot in the center of her forehead and red toes. Body color otherwise darkens towards extremities. Is ~45ft long as an adult.
