The Grim are minions of a temporal spirit that feeds on the souls of mortal creatures. Grim capture these souls by killing specific targets.

Grim are almost immortal, they can be damaged by regular means, but can only die if their mask is completely destroyed. If it is heavily cracked, it begins to leak temporal energy, forcing the wearer to flicker in and out of existence, even to the point of being forgotten momentarily by those that know it. The mask will heal over time.

Their masks are fused to their faces, and appear to be in the shape of a kitsune. It is suggested that their masks are based on their master's appearance, but they are also customized to the wearer's preferences. When they are targeting a soul, the eyes of the mask will open and glow.

Grim can take on the form of any species, usually sticking to one they prefer. They are usually slender and graceful in appearance, unless their chosen species disallows it. Grim tend to match the species of their targeted soul, providing a more fairer battle.

Despite being minions of a temporal spirit, Grim have very little powers in time travel. They can slow time down slightly, using this as a way to travel the mortal planes faster from the perception of others. During battle, they rely on either magical, elemental, or mortal weapons.
