-Background-

Almost all of Kyriae has a matriarchal structure. Not to be confused with just swapping out the dudes for ladies. Zae comes from a tribal like people and trades regularly with other races. They are of a hunter-gatherer people and are self-sufficient. The saying it takes a village to raise a child holds true with them and children are quite frequently tossed around learning and living with other members. Very few members will know who the parents are or even care, at times the horn colors can give it away. Like all Sae races, the are promiscuous and generally don't hold one partner above another. They may have a partner to live with and another they choose to bed with. Zaebrael has neither and is an adult. There's a lot of pressure for her to find a place in the world so she leaves to find where she belongs with the tribe's blessing.

While she may have past her rites years ago, she's still seen as too wild to her tribe. She has never fit in with the cultural standards of her tribe, and finds herself in trouble quite a bit. Many members of the tribe wish to have seen her gone long ago for disrupting the peace and breaking rules while also disregarding taboos but the elders have tolerated and allowed her to do as she pleases. They seem to know something about her than they let on.

-Personality -

She's curious, inquisitive, spunky, attuned to the world more than she is with others, and a day dreamer. She talks before she thinks, tact is a foreign word, and is quite blunt. Stubborn but silly yet there are times where she feels alone and times where she gets depressed. While an introvert, she can be quite gregarious with new people. She is determined and can be seen aggressive at times. She wants to make the world a better place. She also has little tolerance or patience with weak-minded people.

She enjoys learning new things and finds theories on Blood (think magic), discoveries in science, art, cultures, and nature all very fascinating. She has a tendency to wonder how things work but doesn't try anything beyond wondering and looking.
