Taglio is a hairless alley cat (not a sphynx, simply a domestic cat with a bit of a genetic defect), born to a rich family and luxuriously furred parents. In worlds where outward appearance meant everything, a hairless cat was seen as sick, or something to be avoided and possibly culled. Obviously, upon seeing their horrible, disgusting kitten, they abandoned the wretched thing to die in the nearby woods. It's unknown how he survived, and you'd be hard pressed to have him open up to you.

But survive he did. Covering himself from ears to toe beans, he makes a "living" peddling his own little brand of medical advices: mushrooms. He knows the property of hundreds of species, and yet will not think twice about "prescribing" an amanita to someone.

This means that there are quite a few angry souls out there after him, and so he keeps on the move.

Once you get to know him though, he's not such a bad fellow!
