Kain was born as a result of Darren Vorick’s second marriage to Salissa Vorick. When he was 4 years old his mother died during a hunt, after that they left the pack and lived with their father in a cottage near a human town. He has an older half-brother named Bane. They love to tease each other and share a hate/love relationship and share more in common than they wish to say. Deep down they really care for each other and will always try to avoid fighting with the other. Kain’s joking can often be seen as more light hearted while Bane’s is gruff and often rude. Kain and his brother Bane left their father about 5 years ago and spent 2 years roaming from land to land finally coming upon the Lakewood pack and joining it after working with some of the guard defend from a rouge pack. During the fight Kain was separated from his brother and hid in a cave where Hallow, a guard from the Lakewood pack was also hiding. Hallow first mistook him for one of the rouges and attacked him. After a brief struggle Kain overpowered Hallow but found he couldn’t hurt the she-wolf and instead fell in love with her. He later returned to the pack with her and joined the guard to serve by her side along with his brother. Ever since he has been trying to win Hallow’s trust and acceptance and make sure she is safe from all, including his ambitious brother.
