Matt was originally born a human, a fun-loving guy, who wasn't afraid to help friends in need. He was great powers at birth by beings from another dimension, but could not use them until he was old enough.

One day, at a science convention, Matt voluntered to be shot with a ray that would allow telepathic communication with pokemon. Unfortunately, the ray malfunctioned, and while it did enhance his telepathic powers, it also turned him into a shiny pikachu, unable to turn back into a human.

But he learned there was a bright side to this, and to this day he is still the fun loving, caring guy he was long ago, albeit now famous.

Sizeshifting (unlimited)

Shapeshifting (any species, anthro.)

Strength and muscle shifting.

other info: can still get injured and sick. Certain powers cannot be negated like size, strength, and muscle shifting. Shapeshifting can be nullifed temporarilly, but uses technological means to compensate. can inflate any part of body and whole self, whether normal or pooltoy.
