So within the past few weeks I've been developing a Star Wars OC. (Yep, it's finally happened. It's only taken like... since I was 3 years old, but it's happened.)

However I also wanted to design a companion for them, so here is a Slash Rat. His name is Kuto. He works a lot like a search hound, finding criminals by their scent and tracking them. I took quite a few liberties on the Slash Rat's design, since I could only find one pic of them that exists. I kept his head quite rodent in design, but the rest of his body I drew reference from different sight hounds, all while keeping a somewhat alien design. Another inspiration for him was Dingo Dongo from the film Riddick. (Bless alien dogs everywhere.)
