Personality-katsu in her early years was rather energetic and upbeat before her unfortunate event spending most of her time playing with her friends.
But after her event, the optimistic personality she had as a child had dimmed down noticeably and had developed problems with anger and depression-though later on katsu is able to hold her anger back to an extent. Because of this, she was left out of games and play dates since most of the children didn’t want a mopey girl playing with them and some of them who had been on the receiving end of her temper were too afraid to talk to her.
This made her very lonely and often clung to any friends that she did make usually new people who didn’t know how bad she was unless they were told themselves which would make her upset, which would show her lack of self-control over her temper ,which drove people away. To take her mind of things, she puts effort into everything that she does to give her something to be proud of so she can forget for a little while the bad things about herself though she has had days when she didn’t want to do or say anything anymore.
Another trait she developed since living there was that she had become very cunning and would bend the truth to get back at her peers or simply to annoy them.
Once in naruto’s world she acts more like she used to but made the mistake of covering up what she was really like out of the fear that naruto, pretty much everyone wouldn’t like her anymore. She does a fairly good job, until she finally snaps during the chunin exams and convinces herself that’s she ruined everything just like every other time she tried to make friends.
