Rhapsody was part of an experiment to create a genetically perfect animal that acted obedient and has desirable physical traits (like markings or horns or things like that); like selective breeding but with the flip of a switch. however, the researchers conducting said experiment were unable to get a subject, until one of them volunteered (rhapsody at the time, who was a normally colored and competent scientist). the experiment did not go as planned; the researcher was mutated into a fluffy colorful mutant who soon escaped the lab where he was held. scared and confused, he fled into a near by city where he was rescued by a cafe owner. the owner was puzzled by what to do with this red...thing... that she had rescued. he was officially named Rhapsody and was given a job in the cafe, helping the owner in the kitchen and letting him take food to customers

he's very oblivious, and can't be left on his own for long periods of time. he can't speak and instead makes grunting and baaing/bleating sounds. he walks like a chicken and is about as smart as one
