Ev0wl is a great horned owl who doesn't care what the world thinks of him as long as he's happy in his own little world. He's usually quite reserved, however when he's in the mood he can be quite excitable and sometimes even loud. Most of the time, he's a very quiet bird, who mostly communicates non-verbally, by using generic sounds or technological means, partly due to the differences between speaking as a human and speaking using a hard beak, and partly because he simply prefers to listen.

He regularly wears shirts which have zipped sides specifically for being able to open his wings, which he folds up into an indent in his back. However, those shirts are expensive and/or time consuming to make himself, so most art of him is shown wearing regular shirts with his wings hidden away. The ability to fly is important to him as he links it mentally with a sense of freedom.

He is a rather geeky bird, and is rarely found without either his netbook, phone or kindle, hacking or reading away at this or that. If not doing that he'll either be singing merrily away (he's very musical) or sleeping.
