Nox is the closest thing that “The Void” has to a coherent, sentient personality. However, this personality is focused almost completely on cruel destruction and wanton indulgence. The appearance of Nox marks the end for the world on which he appears.

With skin as black as the nothingness he represents, and wispy luminous hair, Nox otherwise appears to be the same size and shape as an ordinary mortal, and is generally mistaken for, or identified as a Drow elf. His outer appearance, however, is little more than a shell. An almost leathery skin that contains his inner essence, which takes the form of a thick, corrosive ooze, which acts as his stomach acid.

Upon arrival, Nox uses heavy charm abilities to convert those around him into servants, all of which begin feeding him any food within range, beginning the chain reaction that brings about the end. As Nox gorges, the ooze within him swells and grows, causing his outer shell to stretch and soften, mimicking the feel and appearance of fat. As Nox swells and grows, the area of effect that his charm ability grows along with him, causing all those caught within the area to gather all the food they can carry, to add to Nox’s feast.
This effect continues indefinitely, with no maximum range, effectively reaching across the world afflicted with his presence, until the entire populace is devoted to feeding all food supplies to him. This eventually extends towards the people themselves, once the farmed food supply is completely exhausted, and the charmed individuals turn on each other in order to provide more food for the abomination to feed on.

To say that Nox’s digestive system is a nuclear reactor is to vastly underestimate how potent and destructive it is. As the ooze within Nox digests the massive quantities of food it is given, it produces an equally corrosive gas. In smaller concentrations, early on in Nox’s feasting, the gas is only mildly corrosive, reducing most matter that it touches to an acidic, slimy goop. However, the higher concentrations produced in the latter end of Nox’s gorging can simply vapourise most material it touches.
It is for both this reason, and the fact that the inner ooze ‘sweats’ through the over-stretched skin as Nox reaches massively obese sizes, that he is able to turn the area he chooses to begin his gorging, into a vile, ever-expanding swamp.

Eventually, Nox’s outer shell gives out. The exact point may differ, depending on the size and overall life population of the world he chooses, but eventually his appetite outstrips the tensile capability of his protective skin, and the form splits open, revealing his true self. Heralded by a truly cataclysmic blast of flatulence, everything within range is immediately vapourised, mere seconds before the ooze flows outwards, dissolving anything that remains.
If Nox is unable to reach this size after devouring a population, he instead vomits forth his ooze form to accomplish the same end.
Once everything, in, upon, and within the world is destroyed, Nox reduces everything around and within himself into pure energy, which is then consumed by “The Void”.

Nox does, technically, have followers, however he does not grant any powers or spell domains, as the followers are charmed thralls rather than clerics or worshippers. Any who devote themselves to Nox willingly are still eaten, as all other life in his presence will be.
