Spencer, or "Spadge" as she is more commonly known is the daughter of an itinerant worker of Polish descent who travels around southwestern Britain doing odd jobs. He's left his only daughter Spencer with his brother, a small time criminal living in London's east end.
Spadge dropped out of school at an early age and has been in and out of juvenile detention and has a number of anti-social behavior disorder orders against her.
When not helping her uncle with small time burglaries, she hangs out in bars.
