Neio is a black German Shepard (Anthro Form most prevalent) with bright green markings on wrists, fore paws, and all four paw pads. These markings glow more or less brightly, depending on his mood. His right ear is trimmed and lined with white, the left matches his body; both have green fur in the middle. His claws are bright green as well. Neio has blue eyes, which glow brightly at night (when he uses his night vision).
He has a black barbell industrial style piercing in his left ear. He also is usually wearing a green and black checked bandana.

Neio mostly appears to be a fairly typical German Shepard, except that he is almost pure black with only a few brightly glowing green highlights. Born into a normal family, he was taken away from home shortly after birth and forced into experiments. These experiments altered his genetic code. They made him so much better then other's of his kind, and so much worse.

The brightly glowing green highlights belie one of the changes he has undergone. The green markings on his body glow more or less brightly, depending on the emotions he is feeling. Along with this, he has the ability to heal all wounds. By tapping into the power flowing through his body, he can heal himself or others. It is thought he could even bring someone back from the brink of death. He has not, as yet, been forced to test this ability.

Of course, every blessing comes with a curse. He also has the ability to hurt, possibly kill, with his glowing power. When he feels desperate need, whether to protect himself or his friends, Neio can burn his foes by tapping into his glowing green power. The effects of these burns on his enemies leaves them with a glowing scar.

Finally, Neio was also granted the ability to see in darkness. His eyes function like a special form of night vision. Amazingly, this new ability did not diminish his ability to see during the day. When using this night vision, his eyes glow brightly.
