This is an updated reference sheet for my scalesona/kintype, Ankaru! This was originally intended to be a quick warmup sketch to get back into the swing of things but I loved how it was turning out so I just kept working on it until I had a finished ref X3 As of now she does not have an anthro form.

Her name is pronounced "Ahn-kah-ru"

Wingspan: 90ft
Length: 65ft
Primary element: frost/ice
Secondary elements: water, electricity

For dragon, 127 is still very young! She's a kind young dragon that loves to make new friends and is bursting with energy. At 9ft tall at the shoulders, she is fairly small compared to many dragons. All of her blue markings are bioluminescent. The only times her markings aren't glowing are when she is very ill, near death, or dead. The "stars" on the undersides of her wings change patterns depending on the time of year, and sometimes a constellation can be found. The large feathers on her tail are used as a rudder during flight for added stability and precision, and the crest on her head are primarily sensory feathers for detecting changes in wind and such but can also display emotion. She is an extremely skilled flier, and can reach top speeds of nearly 200mph in ideal conditions. The bone formation, or "beak" at the end of her snout is used for gripping large prey and is capable of tearing flesh and scales.

Her best friend is Azure the fur dragon and she is mated to Shinje (SHEEN-jeh), though it is an open poly relationship.

She also has two other forms, her pure form and domestic form. Info will be released on those soon!

Ankaru is also my kintype.
