Cypheus was one of the twisted souls who were given to the dark pact of the Amberclaw Union, an act that committed and entire world to apocalypse to give a small order known as the Amberclaws immortality, and their "rightful shells" as dragons. Though they achieved what they sought out to accomplish, a world of dragonkind in which they were lords, they become even more warped than their hearts.

Though not of that union in her past life as humankind, Cypheus' soul was in disarray as she met with Ragnarok, as did the rest of the world. Because of her imbalance, her soul was born into an unusual husk as a Capricious beast.

Born as a slave, and abused in every possible means one could be, her spirit was never broken in despite having known only servitude. She loathed the dystopia that her masters wandered in a false sense of superiority, and saw through the clean and tidy face they wore for one another, the prudence therein, as the most disgusting hipocracy for the experiences she was forced into. Breaking out and away from the city, to dip into the slum of refuse where they toss the bodies, living or otherwise, of social misfits from the utilitarian walls caging the mighty city. She made a name for herself by trafficking the already weak and desperate and scraping up her own kingdom beneath the shadow of the one from which she had fallen. Shying not from the most vulgar and repulsive acts to make a profit.

She would have subjugated the young Taernyll on his escape from the walls, much as she did, as a whelp if not for the display of magical prowess in the young dragon. Taking him as a prized pet, she would eventually find herself usurped and at the mercy of the genome of cultural superiority as the scaled monster grew broiling underneath her bosom to take all she worked for for himself, to further his quest for power to make an actual opposition against the nightmare wasteland the world had become, and not the harmless middle-finger angst opportunist empire of filth she had amassed.
