Zulu is a genetically altered hybrid, born in a lab as part of a business transaction. His buyer wanted a killing machine, something mindless and driven toward one goal. There had been countless other attempts before him, all given their own designation. Zulu Alpha 1 was the newest "model" in a line of failures. So far, Zulu had been the closest to the original plan, but not quite. He was the perfect combination of stealth and lethality, but there was a fault to him that neither his creator nor his buyer had anticipated; his intelligence. Once he had learned of this fault and the choice made to destroy him and start over, Zulu used that gift of intelligence to break free of his prison, killing the man who had created him and destroying the rest of the lab in the process. Now free from captivity, Zulu roams the world, newly opened to him, discovering what it meant to be alive.
