Backstory: Emerald was made on a kindergarten and brought back to Homeworld by Chalcedony. She was defective and came out much smaller and weaker than her fellow Emeralds. She was ultimately kept to balance out Yellow Diamond's technical team and is one of the lowest-class workers there. She hates everyone higher-up than her, save for Pyrite and Chalcedony, who she works with regularly. She doesn't like Pyrite too much since she feels Pyrite takes Chalce's attention away from her. She's very much jealous and can't wait to go on the mission to save Peridot so she can show Chalcedony how much better she would be for her.
