Charlie is an adventurer at heart. He has been all over the world. He carries himself as if he's a man of wealth and great importance, but in reality he has very little money to his name but he likes to keep up a reputation that makes people believe he's powerful. The only things he really owns are his small ship, a few suits, and a sword. He's often seen with his lady, Lucy Mongoosey, whom he met during his travels.

Charlie had a pretty good childhood, and often thinks back on those days fondly. He grew up in an area comparable to the American South, where he learned how to fish and man a boat. He was forced to leave home after getting in with the wrong crowd during his late teens, and taking the fall for an ex-lover's crimes. Not wanting to spend his life rotting in jail, he stole a boat and hasn't returned to his hometown since. He used to be incredibly bitter about his past, but he's at peace with it now that he's realized he's just as much to blame for what happened for not being smarter in his youth. Ultimately, he's a free man and that's what matters most.

He's made his living in various ways, some less savory than others. You might call him a pirate; he prefers mercenary.

This version of his is sort of a mirror of the original version of Charlie. Both versions of Charlie are basically dramatized good and bad aspects of myself. In general, this version of Charlie is more of my negative traits.
