Eoghan (pronounced "Owen") was born to a Scottish mother named Elaine and an English father named Robert. His father left the family when Eoghan was six, and the diminished income had his mother working two jobs to keep them off the street. Eoghan always loved animals, and because of this and the expensive nature of meat, he became a vegetarian (and eventually, full-on vegan). Shortly after his thirteenth birthday, his mother met a well-to-do manager named William who worked at a local grocery store as a butcher. The two started dating, and while Eoghan wrinkled his nose at the man's profession, he was a good man and he treated them well.

When he turned 16, his mother remarried and the family moved to a new home with his new step-father and step-brother, Luke. William soon launched his own meat-packing business, and it quickly became a booming success. Luke was quick to ascend to the level of Vice President and while Robert offered Eoghan a similar position, he politely declined and chose to stay home and help out his mother, who was becoming quite sick.

When Eoghan was 19, his mother passed away due to complications from breast cancer. The entire family grieved her loss, and Eoghan was left in charge of a home he couldn't afford on his own. Rather than allow Robert to pay for it himself, Eoghan sold the home and used the earnings to travel around and sing at various bars and clubs.

Though he was always well-received, he never made enough to keep a roof over his head for long, so he lives from motel room to motel room.

When he was 21 years old, he got drunk afternoon after a performance and went home with an Australian named Damian Ashcroft. After some pretty amazing sex, the full moon rose, and he was bitten by what turned out to be a werewolf.

Full moons are hard on Eoghan, since he refuses to kill like Damian insists and he won't even hunt deer like other wolves who don't want to kill humans. He is thin and frail and stands at a little more than 6 and a half feet tall in his werewolf form.

A few months after contracting lycanthropy, Jay Bijeau approached him looking for a partner in werewolf rehabilitation. She'd heard of his steadfast refusal to give into his beast half and was intrigued.

Shortly after that meeting, Eoghan moved into a spacious London flat with Jay that doubled as a homeopathic medicine and meditation center for newly-turned werewolves. Though he's only registered as a nurse, Eoghan is good with herbs and salves and many seek out his aide.

A year in business brought them Trapper, who was new to Europe and was searching for work in his specialty as a mercenary. Jay took him on as a hunting partner to assist with exterminating the nastier, man-eating wolves in the greater London area and surrounding villages. It was through this line of work that the group met Mili, having saved her from an attack (but not before she contracted lycanthropy).

These days, Eoghan is in a long-term relationship with fiance Damian Ashcroft, his sire, and together they are raising a boy named Connor (whose parents were murdered by Vincenzo Santiago when he was 2).
