Backstory: Chrysoberyl is a relatively young gem, grown rather recently to complete little missions around the Gem-controlled planets. Picking up old artifacts, reactivating warp pads, stuff like that. After Yellow Diamond received Peridot's transmission, she arranged to send Chrysoberyl, Emerald, and Chalcopyrite to pick her up. Chrysoberyl is glad to have been picked to go on such a big mission, and can't wait for the day they board the ship to Earth.
