Baydrake is a Common Skywalker Dragon. And he's not your normal dragon for that matter.

He can only speak through technology, as he is incapable of telepathy. He has even built his own “speech collar” to aid in communication!

He is a curious, caring dragon and specializes in tech and medicine. Baydrake is fascinated by humans, and strives to learn more about them and even interact whenever possible. He is usually docile unless threatened, and can be quite playful once he relaxes a bit~

He is incredibly gentle with anything smaller than him. Usually his first impulse is to pick them up, but most of the time he shows restraint. Baydrake knows his size alone can be pretty intimidating, yet he tends to explore things by touch. SO sometimes he proceeds to pick them up anyway, and does so very, very carefully. If it’s a very, very small child or animal, he’ll use his mouth to pick it up, since his mouth is actually very sensitive and he can sense the lightest touch on his gums or tongue. This is also why he seldom breathes fire: it’s not a very comfortable experience for him. It doesn’t hurt, it just feels weird to him. He has an odd habit of sucking or mouthing inedible objects for the texture, and is often used as a self-comforting act, like a toddler sucking on his/her thumb. He likes having his tongue rubbed for the same reason, and it just feels good to him.

Due to his inability to use telepathy, his tribe drove him out at an early age. He has a scar on his belly from a nasty fight with an older dragon from his tribe over the matter. Because of this he’s wary if not terrified of other dragons. Alone for 20 years, the now 61 year old dragon yearns for companionship. Human, animal, ANYTHING that is kind or welcoming to him.

Baydrake’s species are mouth-brooders. Meaning they keep their eggs in their brood pouches (located in the throat and part of the mouth) until they hatch, much like cichlids (fish).

Baydrake has just discovered his “brood pouch” (both sexes have them), and now keeps a bunch of stuff in it. Namely electronics.
