Backstory: Zajac was born and raised on his family’s farm on an island to the North West of Albion called Frostwail by it’s current inhabitants. Being the only boy of four siblings, his parents had raised and educated him to one day inherit the farm. Zajac however, had other plans, and when he finally became an adult, he followed in the footsteps of his closest sister and left in the middle of the night. He never looked back.

He left home and headed straight to the University in the Capital, Snowspire. After many years of study and working around the college, Zajac became trusted enough to conduct his own research. He began to study at length the ancient rituals from his homeland as well as many other places he’d never been. He paid special attention to mentions of the use of Magic and Will Powers. Long thought by the island’s inhabitants to be nothing more than myth. Zajac, however, believed differently. He knew magic existed, but lacked any way to prove it. This is what he so wanted to accomplish.

During a trip to the portside market he purchased a book from some traders who had no clue what they were selling. As he studied the pages, he found references to a ruined structure which he had read existed about a day;s journey from the city. Thinking this could be the breakthrough he had been looking for he prepared himself to go to the structure and see what he could learn. A week later he had packed his bag and was ready to depart. He didn’t know then that it would be a long time before he would see the university again.

Personality: He exudes a very positive and gentle attitude. He wants to believe that people are basically good, but he can also be very guarded about himself and his past. He can be very quiet around strangers, but if you get him talking about his interests he will talk at great length and with much passion.

Skills/Talents/Hobbies: Well read and educated. Very familiar with the History of his homeland. Very well versed in ancient rituals, as well as several pantheons of Gods and Deities.

Has a knack for learning and using Will powers, but not practiced in using them for any sort of combat.

Musically inclined, he knows how to play the dulcimer, and will often sing in private. He lack confidence in his voice though, and is extremely hesitant to sing in front of others.

He had been taught how to shoot a gun from a pretty young age. He grew up on a farm and had to learn how to protect his livestock from thieves and wild animals. He has not carried or used one since he left his home 10 years ago.
