Lusus:: Goatpentdad - A HUGE king cobra naga-like creature. The end of its tail has a tuft of curly fur and the designs on the flaps of its neck resemble two goats rearing. It has a goatee and two large curled horns somewhat like Azazel’s, though they curl forward more. His lusus is dead/missing.

TRAITS
Habits:: Drinking, cracking his knuckles when nervous, snoring (lightly; it's cute), falling asleep sitting upright or whilst in the middle of doing something (drinking, showering, etc.), stuttering a bit when flustered (aka being a total tsundere), making snide remarks, running his hands through his hair, sitting on tables.
General Personality:: Calm and standoffish at first. Much more tentative than he used to be. Sarcastic humor, easygoing, a bit easy to agitate. Puts on a front in public. A very pleasant person to be around if you know him well enough and he lowers his guard.
Around Strangers:: There are two overarching ways an encounter with a stranger could go. Standoffish approach - Azazel with glance over, briefly evaluate the person, crinkle his nose a bit and think bad things about them, and then either scoff softly and avoid them or engage and then start to pry at them to get them to crack. Calm/Tired/Sad Approach - Azazel is more willing to (read: compliant) talk. Usually at the grocery store or the bar when in this state, he will boredly/tiredly/slowly look at and evaluate the person, blink once if he approves and look away if he doesn't. If approached and talked to, he will seem surprisingly shy for his appearance, and he will certainly be more quiet than expected.
Around Friends:: Seems to smile a lot around friends. More open to jokes, makes many a snide comment and sarcastic joke himself, and is less likely to be as on guard as he is with strangers. A very pleasant guy, and one can really know that if they're close to him. May get quiet and despondent for a moment, but will open back up and talk if prompted. Overall just more open, but not necessarily more happy.
Likes:: Drinking (unfortunately), watching bad romcoms by himself and critiquing them while not-so-secretly enjoying them, being around a close friend or two, very bitter dark chocolate, sitting outside at Camelo's hive and watching the ocean, getting a good, long nap in, making other people more relaxed via jokes or sympathy.
Dislikes:: Parties/raves, clubs, and bars (he goes anyway for the liquor, but he hates that he has to be there; it reminds him of his old life and makes him feel shitty), being cold, dickwads that think they're better than everyone, going to the store at dumb hours of the night (and yet that's what he does), making friends angry with him.

HISTORY

AGE 17-23
His speech is carefree and eerily calm, some sort of destructive power always bubbling just below his tone (and one can hear it: he sounds very unstable and very sly, just like the snake that he is). Azazel is a PAR+--IER, and given the opportunity he would gladly FUCK 66OME 66HI+-- UP just because he was bored. He is the life of every party and he knows it; he has an ego the size of a small solar system. However, underneath his WICKED COOL extravert exterior he battles with himself, constantly doubting himself and everything that he is. On the rare occasion that he shows this low, quiet side (usually if he hasn’t had enough alcohol/sopor raging through his restless veins) it is advised that one either leaves him be until he is better or goes to comfort him. Other times, usually in the few days after a party, Azazel is a really chill guy; HELL, he’s even pretty smart. Despite this being his true nature, he rarely ever gives someone the opportunity to see it. Everything about Azazel screams instability and terror, seeing as though that is his tarot card curse to bear, but he isn’t an unreasonable troll. He may be a huge masochist and sadist, but if someone he truly and deeply cares for is in danger his partier façade dissipates and he jumps to their side. Overall, Azazel is a LOAD OF FUCKING FUN, and while he may be a bit too wild or openly sexual than some, most trolls really do enjoy his presence.

WHY I DID WHAT I DID

• He was initially created for a session in which all of the trolls were based off of tarot cards. He was based off of El Diablo, and his dancestor, Tempra, was based off of Temperance.
• Diabol is a play off of Diablo.
• Iniquitous Reveler means "morally objectionable loud/rambunctious partier" (LOL).
• His typing quirk is somewhat obviously tied to Satan/Satanism, inverted crosses being the main connection, and his S's will occasionally line up to form 666 in a sentence (i.e: Wha--+'6 66hakin'?).
