A character I've had for a while, but have yet to actually post anything of. This was drawn by airship-king, a friend of mine and an artist more people should be watching.

Alder's a dragontaur, but one with no head. In place of a head, sie's got a second body, this one a small nonanthro dragon. Sie ended up like this while attempting to turn all of hirself into a small dragon--sie wasn't terribly successful, and only turned hir head into one. Sie could easily reverse the spell, but sie enjoys being like this. Sie's used to it; it's been more than a century since sie first took this shape, and sie's not changed out of it since.

Sie has some strange traits besides this, as well. Sie doesn't strongly identify as any particular gender, and sie's physically null, with no genitals whatsoever. At least, sort of. One could also argue that sie's a hyper, as when sie wears any sort of clothing (which is not considered necessary for taurs, but is sometimes fashionable), one can see a quite-large bulge between hir hind legs. Pulling the pants down still reveals nothing. In effect, sie has a hypersized package that's only tangible to clothing.

There's also an old description of hir that I wrote and I don't think I ever posted anywhere. That follows here:

At just two metres tall, Alder is very short for a dragontaur, but still taller than the majority of anthros. Sie measures hir height to the shoulder, rather than top of the head as most do, because sie doesn't have a head to measure to. At least, not in the normal sense of the word.

Rather than a head as most people would think of it, Alder has a complete, fully independent second body, this one a small, non-anthro dragon about a meter in length. This body does have a head, of the appropriate size and shape for a small dragon, so sie can see, hear, eat, breathe, and all the other functions one needs a head to perform.

While sie does often use the obvious method of transport--perching on hir shoulders--this isn't the most comfortable perch in the world, and there's only so much that can be done to make it comfortable. Sie'll often rest on hir back, or tie a hammock between hir lower four legs to lay in, or even climb into hir own pouch and just poke out hir head. Pouches, which generally are like a built-in pocket on one's upper and sometimes also lower stomach, are a trait shared by all dragontaurs in Alder's family, though not by all in the world.
