Cinder is a parciular species called a Hoseki (Uriko44's species) Hoseki's use gems and their elemental abilities to protect themselves. They sleep inside their respective crystal and when in need of more power to project their "magic" they are able to grow the crystals on their bodies.

Cinder is a Blue gold stone crystal, meaning she uses Astral power.
