Rowan the fox is known by most as the friendly barista in the best (and only) coffee shop in town. What most people don't know is that he was raised by a family of wolves (the two-legged kind). He had a rather hard time growing up, being of smaller stature and just plain different from his peers. He found that being friendly and helpful tended to diffuse any animosity people might feel towards him, but you could still say he has serious trust issues.

He has a hard time with personal contact. As the other foxes where he lives tend to be very tactile in their interactions with each other, this makes his social life somewhat difficult. That said, he's excited to meet pretty much anyone who is remotely interested in cinema, and will happily take them through his collection of film strips, tapes, laser discs, and DVDs that he has found picking through the remnants of human civilization. He has certain aspirations to make films, himself, but he doesn't get much opportunity to do so.

That isn't to say he has particularly sophisticated tastes, as he prefers monster movies and action films. He doesn't eat much, and he doesn't care to cook, either. Before Trent and he became mates, he mostly just ate leftover food from the coffee shop.
