OUTSIDE
Rough collie with very, very poor fur condition - it's totally worn out from few patches on her right side, neck, throat and left shoulder.
Lessu's ears are exceptionally floppy for her breed and her facial expression is all the time somewhat sad and wilted.

INSIDE
Very calm but kind, empathetic, sympathetic, friendly and somewhat altruistic even. She's intelligent and very capable of thinking with her very own brain, without basing her opinions just from what others have said. Lessu has rather strong personality and secure sense of moral, yet she's quite much depressed too. She won't give in to her sorrow, she won't let things bring her - or those dear to her - down but Lessu can't quite ditch the gloomy presence from her shoulders, she can't quite look at life with only happiness in her eyes.

BEHIND
Lessu has lost much. The first six years of her life were happy and easy, but then she lost her mate to the attack of another dog, and soon after that her owner, who had Lessu's complete trust and her strong loyalty, died of housefire. Lessu tried her best to save the human, but she couldn't do anything - she was sleeping outside when the fire started, and the one and only thing she was able to do when waken, was to bark, bark and bark, wishing someone would hear it and come to help.
And someone did, but when the ambulance and fire truck arrived to the scene, it was already too late. Lessu had lost her human, and the kilometers she ran after the ambulance to get together with her once again, were all in vain - Lessu had inhaled smoke and collapsed into a gutter before she reached the hospital. At that point she was totally alone and lost with her life, without knowing where she should go and what she should do. For four years she has now been living her life without humans, with restlessness and longing in her chest, but smile on her face.
