Personality:

Thomas is a happy soul who just doesn't want to grow up. He acts like a kid and loves to have fun, which can often lead him to trouble as he acts on his every whim. Thomas is easy to love and because of this he surrounds himself in people, from acquaintances to friends. Despite his willingness to let anyone at all in his life, he is a hard boy to truly win over and therefore is hard to actually befriend. Thomas is non-confrontational and will put confrontation off by joking and ignoring. Thomas is very hard to anger, and in fact one of the only ways to do so is to mess with his sister. When Thomas IS angry he turns into a completely different and savage person until he is able to calm down.

Background:

Thomas's father wasn't necessarily a bad man, he had been gentle and loving with his mother, Lacy, but when she became pregnant with Thomas his father urged her to have an abortion. Lacy refused and Thomas's father left just like that, warning her to watch the child as it grew, for it might be a monster much like himself. So Thomas was born into the world, pink and soft and most definitely not a monster. Lacy loved him dearly and raised him as good as any mother can. When Thomas was six Lacy married a man named Charlie.

Charlie was a good man, he worked hard and loved Thomas. Charlie only ever asked that Thomas keep his grades up in school, which Thomas was enthusiastic to do. When Thomas was ten Lacy became pregnant again and birthed a sister for Thomas, Tara. Thomas was jealous of his sister and the attention she received, but as he grew older he came to love her and acted as her protector. Thomas will do almost anything for his sister and the best way to piss him off is to mess with her.

Then Thomas was 12... and going through puberty. It was a confusing and terrible time for him, especially when one night the full moon rose above his head and all of a sudden he was changing... shifting... and he wasn't a little boy anymore. Thomas tried to hide it from his mom and Charlie, but eventually Lacy became suspicious of his monthly disappearances and followed him. When she saw him shift Lacy suddenly knew what his father had meant. She was scared for her boy, but she confronted him and was there for him through his confusing time. Charlie did not find out until after Thomas was off to college.
