Personality:

Contrary to his appearance and deep voice, Alan is a very eccentric guy. One of the more noticeable features in Alan's personality his is tendency to be easily excited, and this shows most when he witnesses a pokemon evolve. The event of pokemon evolution will usually begin with him yelling like an excited child on christmas morning and fetching his notebook out of his vest pocket to jot down notes and draw bad pictures of the process, all the while mumbling and dancing about.

When not excited about something or other, Alan is a huge flirt. He will flirt with anyone and everyone, however if anyone responds to his flirts, especially positively, Alan will become embarrassed and pretend like he wasn't flirting at all or force a change in subject. Even though Alan will flirt with anyone, he's very into the dudes and will always flirt with men if given the chance.

Alan is very determined to become a Professor, and his interests are solely in pokemon evolution. Alan is working on a thesis involving pokemon during the process of evolution and what goes into the accelerated growth cycle during evolution. Getting him started on this subject is a bad idea as he will promptly launch into a huge barely understandable speech about evolution and his theories on it.

Kabutops

Nickname: Gulbrand

Gender: Male

Information: Alan received Kabutops in the form of an unhatched egg when he was 11. Gulbrand has a Serious personality and tends to roll his eyes at Alan's shenanigans, but Gulbrand adores Alan anyway. Alan usually uses Gulbrand in pokemon battles, which is why Gulbrand is evolved while none of Alan's other pokemon are, but Alan has started using his other pokemon more often.

Aron

Nickname: Uno

Gender: Male

Information: Uno was the first pokemon Alan caught himself. Uno has a jolly personality and tends to join in with Alan's excited outbursts even though he doesn't really understand what's going on, in fact he tends to mimic Alan almost completely. Uno likes to ride around on Alan's shoulder.

Gible

Nickname: Garthe

Gender: Male

Information: Garthe is the little trouble maker, with his impish personality. If he is not begging for or receiving attention then he is most likely doing something naughty, like chewing on random items. Alan has lost more then one of his journals this way, and because of Garthe Alan now keeps his journal close by at all times.

Geodude

Nickname: Geodudette (Alan thought it was funny at the time)

Gender: Female

Information: Geodudette joined Alan's team last, but has still been with Alan and the team for a few years now. Geodudette has a quirky personality and this has only been intensified by being raised by a bunch of dudes.

Note: Geodudette wears a bow around her wrist because Alan is a dork.
