Daniel is really only a vampire in the 'I drink blood' sense of the word... Animal blood, to be exact. He dislikes the taste of human blood. He lives next to old farmer Jenkins, providing him with a ready supply of non-human blood nearby. However, Jenkins knows his neighbour isn't human... Good thing nobody believes his ramblings about 'yellowbellied bloodsuckers'. Only Daniel's close friends know his secret, and are cool with a vampire in their midst.

In his spare time, Daniel can either be found playing videogames on the couch, cooking, or hanging out with his friends. He might not be able to get nutrients from human food, but he still enjoys the taste of it. His favourite foods tend to be really spicy. He has a pet Husky named Blitz, his best friend.

Daniel is very laid back, but fiercely defensive of his friends. He's quite the social butterfly, and is often described by his friends as a huge flirt. He works as a waiter in a local restaurant, but aspires to be either a chef or a model someday.
