This is Yuuryuu's otter form. I have plans for this character.

Designing this form was interesting, I had the idea for a dragon/otter hybrid for my purposes and had a lot of details planned out. I struggled a lot with some of the features thought such as the facial structure, I just couldn't picture how the two forms would mesh together. When I contacted :linktsaiwolf: about doing the reference sheet I had a couple of basic ideas for it, but I ultimately left it up to them to work it out because I was still struggling with picturing it. I'm glad I gave them a bit of freedom on those parts because it all works together and it's totally amazing.

There was also the matter of the artist being delayed on commissions for a little while which gave me some extra time to think about it. I have to say that one of my favorite details came out during this time, the black patches on his sheath. This was also the period I threw out my original thoughts on the facial structure to give more freedom to the one that will be able to see it as it's created. It was well worth the wait for this, and to think I was originally thinking of a different artist.
