Summer's a piebald genet that's become a genetic clusterfuck after years of consensual experimentation done on sier by sier best friend, LT. Supposedly LT's lab, Cazari Industries, is working towards a better tomorrow via lots and lots of mad science, but the fact that it's mad science means that all of it is done underground (both metaphorically and literally) and by a couple of young adults who are having way too much fun with it.

Basically, sie's the Grace to LT's Tedd. And surprisingly enough sie and sier friend weren't inspired by El Goonish Shive in particular, just the wide variety of media with a similar premise. :D
