Biography

There isn't much to say about Bran's childhood. Hes been suffering from poor health due to his kidneys all his life. His parents home-schooled him for the most part and the time he didnt spend studying he spent reading comic books, playing video games, or watching TV. When the time for college came rolling around the only thing he ever wanted was to go into criminal justice, but he knew his health was far too poor to ever be a police officer, and his parents were falling ill as well. Between taking care of himself and his parents, the years just slipped by.

Just before his 23rd birthday his father passed away and at 25 his mother did as well, and with her went all of his medical benefits. The only thing keeping Bran alive was his meager inheritance which paid for his enormous medical bills and not much else. By 27 he was suffering severely and running out of money, but finally made it to the top of the kidney transplant list. Little did he, or the doctors, know it was a werewolf kidney. Within days of the surgery his health recovered to something far greater than any doctor could have imagined, or had seen. The first full moon after his surgery, Bran's "miracle recovery" had an explanation.

Bran wandered a bit before settling on upstate New York as his new home. He decided this after meeting Ron Lovell in Albany and finding a "pack" to learn from and associate with. He settled around Adirondack Park and works as a ranger, wilderness EMT and rescuer.

Personality

Bran is very protective by nature, but could barely fend for himself while growing up. He spent his time in and out of hospitals with a kidney disease reading comics as the only hobby he really had the strength for. When he wasn't reading comics, he was fantasizing about being the super hero that saves the innocent.

Becoming a werewolf is the only thing that saved his life when he was hanging on to his last thread in his late 20s. Even though he never met his sire, Bran considers his werewolfism a blessing and the door finally opening to his greatest fantasies. After the initial shock of his first several full moons and the realization of what he had become, he found it surprisingly comfortable and natural being a werewolf. When shifted hes not prone to lashing out or going into rage-fits, often being called a were-dog by his friends.

Overall Bran is hard to offend, enjoys jokes, and is easy to get along with. However, like most of the tolerant folk, push him too far and you will really regret it. His Gevaudon form is nothing to be trifled with.
