Amy is a creative writing student at a large State university. Coming from a middle-class background, she takes her studies very seriously but still manages to find time to go out and enjoy herself every so often. She is timid around strangers but comes out of her shell among her friends and in social activities like karaoke. She enjoys upbeat indie rock music, dancing, and reading in her spare time.

Although she does not object to sex, she is not as sexually driven as some of her other friends. Instead, she focuses her relationships on the more romantic and intimate activities (e.g. cuddling, poetry-writing, dinners). This also means that an aggressive approach to get her attention will not work with her; sensitivity and the ability to listen and talk intelligently is the best way to her heart.
