History
Irene was born in New York City in a middle class family Irene grew up in a strongly religious family and was imbued by her family with a great work ethic. Her life might have gone by uneventfully if she wasn’t struck by a strange mutating virus. The virus while also killing many of her fellow New Yorkers with horrible mutations some furs where lucky and survived, Irene was one of the lucky ones. She was transformed into a creature of living metal, gaining super strength and invulnerability. But she lost her “normal” form for a few years. After several year of tryine the BOS science division came up with a device, called the Form changer, that allows her to return to her flesh and blood state for limited amounts of time. She is an agent in the BOS since it allows easy access to state of the art medical technology for her condition. But do to her sexual orientation (she’s gay), Irene has had trouble finding a stable post in the BOS. She has been posted to The BOS Colmaton branch in hopes that she will fit in with it’s more liberal agents, and to be an account for the branch. She keeps tabs n all the damages, repairs, insurance, and keeps the books for the Dixie Dinner. If you don’t make any gay slurs she will also do your taxes.

Personality. Irene is a very in your face individual. She backs down from nobody is loud and opinionated. She is especially loud about homosexual rights, and is very open about her sexual preference. She will hit on another BOS agent but backs off if they tell her they’re not like that, although she does tell them to call if they ever want to experiment. She has also taken part in several gay pride parades.

Powers: Irene is a solid block of living metal in her Metalla form, she is nearly impossible to hurt and has super strength.

Weakness : In her metal form Metalla is extremely heavy and CANNOT swim. She avoids water and liquids. She can also cause unstable structures to collapse on her if she isn’t careful. Due to the form changer she can be normal or about three hours before she changes back. Repeated usage of the changer can cause health problems so she only uses it once a day.
