Mili is a child from a broken family; her parents were divorced when she was 14 and so she spent a lot of her secondary schooling being shuttled between two households in two countries (mama in Belfast, Ireland and papa in Wales) for summers and holidays. Shes also the middle child between an older sister named Alannah (30 years old) and a younger brother named Shane (age 17).

All the moving around and unrest at home left her very quiet and introverted in school; she also developed a bit of an eating disorder and gained around 120 pounds. I imagine she had one or two close friendships that dissolved when she moved to Dublin for college. Shes much closer to her mum than she is to her father purely because her mother received primary custody over the kids in the divorce, but her relationship with her dad is pretty good, too.

When she moved away for college and got her first job, she learned how to eat healthy and began exercising more, and got down to a healthy weight!

She was bitten when she was 19, in the summer between her freshman and sophomore years. She was an up-and-comer in a local theater and had just gotten her first starring role in a musical. The attack left her unable to walk over a month and so her role was given to her understudy. Jay and Trapper, her saviors the night she was attacked, crafted a story about a rabid dog that managed to fool family and medical professionals alike, but they told Mili the truth about her curse.

When she found out that she had contracted lycanthropy through a blood test conducted on the sly by Jay the week before her first shift, something inside of her shattered. After the unbearable pain of her first shift - made worse by bones and ligaments that were still healing and the fact that Trapper had locked her in the basement of the apartment building - she decided she had only one way out.

She wrote a suicide note telling her family that she loved them and that none of it was their fault, then took a bus to the highest bridge in the area. She climbed over the railing on shaky legs and threw herself off the edge, unaware of the fact that Trapper had been tailing her ever since shed been released from the hospital.

A combination of lycanthropic toughness and Trapper diving in after her spared her life, but she definitely didn't want it. Trapper urged her to go back to her family, but she refused to endanger them with her disease. Instead, she moved in with him and Jay and allowed her family to believe she was dead, swearing revenge on Vico and promising to spare as many innocents as she could of fates like hers.

Mili currently works in London with Jay and company, specializing in the tracking and extermination of man-eating werewolves. She also helps Jay and Trapper keep the local vampire covens in check.

Mili has been referred to by many as "the Ice Queen", due to the fact that she projects an aura that is cold and unfeeling. When you get past that, however, she can be very gentle, especially with children and animals. She is wary of men and outright refuses to form romantic relationships after an unpleasant encounter with her first boyfriend, Vincenzo Santiago. In spite of this, she and Eoghan are very close; they share a love of music and musical theatre that few are privy to. Her best friend, Jay, would describe her as "calm, level-headed and kind" at her core.

Mili is physically very strong due to her active lifestyle and lycanthropic edge. Though her brute strength isn't as powerful as the wolves who eat human hearts, she is smaller and faster.

Direct contact with silver causes severe, third-degree burns and prolonged healing times as it does with all werewolves; silver also tends to leave unsightly scars. Mili is also prone to becoming enraged more than normal wolves; the lack of human flesh in her diet and existing issues with anger management can lead her to make very brash decisions in a fight.
