Roscoe has not lived an easy life. Abandoned as a cub, he lived in an orphanage until he was about 10 when he ran away. Unlike Gloria though, he doesn't have any form of proper shelter, and not much more then a few dollars to his name. He usually prefers to go barefoot, but does own a pair of shoes (which you can see here) in case he needs them. Roscoe is incredibly friendly, but tries to hide the fact that he's homeless, not wanting to think about the fact he probably has family out there that aren't interested in finding him.

On a personal note: Roscoe is a character I expected to use in just a one off story, but as I started writing him and thinking up a backstory for an appropriate personality, I found myself connecting with him, and I wanted him to stick around.
