Gloria is the younger of two children in the Dorrek family. She lives alone with her brother Claus on the school grounds in Macht, where she is still a student. However, she isn't exactly a good student, she doesn't have any desire to be book smart, instead focusing her time and effort on art, usually with pencils and charcoal, but she has talent and interests in all sorts of artistic mediums.

She is generally very agreeable and friendly, but she's also very defensive and has a quick temper and is very scrappy. She may be somewhat petite compared to most of her schoolmates, but she isn't afraid to stick up for herself and she isn't afraid to get into fights. She usually resolves things through actions rather than words.

Gloria isn't a dumb person, per se, but with no drive to learn or to study, her grades suffer drastically, she has only basic knowledge of any subject and a somewhat small vocabulary. Compared to her brother she may as well be a doorknob. She can get easily defensive and upset about her lack of knowledge if it's brought up, she can't help but get very upset about it. She's one to turn to anger rather than sadness, so someone even calling her "dumb" could end up in them getting a black eye.
