Vak is one of the 4 dragons summoned by Dleif as a tutor. Vak was summoned to help provide better understanding to Skonia about his ability to traverse through a strange neutral dimension that is considered to be a void, limbo, or purgatory. This dimension is home to countless spirits or souls that have no reason to be summoned to a greater or lesser place such as heaven or hell, but to those with the special ability to enter and leave said dimension, it is used as a very fast form of travel, as it's terrain is a mirror of the real world, and considered "the shadow" of the real world, because in order to enter this dimension, it requires the traveler to step on a shadow in the real world. Those gifted with the ability have special eyes to be able to see the world, which are very unique purple eyes, like Vak has. People who are forced into this world without the special eyes are driven mad, because it has a very specific plane that is needed to hide the dimension from normal life. This dimension's time is very different from the normal world, travelers that take an hour or so to get from one place to another in this dimension discover that when they leave, barely a minute has passed in the real world. Vak has lived in this dimension as a traveler for a countless amount of years, gifted with almost too many eyes. They are knowledgeable but very skittish, as if they have seen too much for too long with all the eyes on their body.
