she's a type of faerie known as a sugar faerie, which are named for the fact that their blood looks like it has sugar in it and generally resembles liquid candy

yaref is very sarcastic, very rude, and honestly just doesn't really care about most things most of the time though on occasion she will show some concern, mainly if it involves food

she takes everything in stride

she's barefoot because she rarely needs to walk; she just floats around
