Since Trinam and Nevix have gotten along so swimmingly, and I'm incapable of keeping my mind from wandering, hariman and I have been working on a future AU where serious shit happens and eventually the two get over the serious shit and are married with kids.

Of the first litter of three (I shudder to think the kind of trouble a second litter would get up to so I haven't even proposed the idea) Nevan is technically the second born but got saddled with one of the male family names. He was born with an unfortunately severe case of kitten fluff and hates the kind and amount of attention this gets him; thus he's ended up somewhat shy, sensitive, and awkward and all about trying to blend in rather than stand out. I'd also like to think he's not at all into fighting. Unlike his sister Ravenna and his as yet unnamed older brother (by a few minutes), he took a bit more after Nevix's skunk look but his tail is shorter than a pure skunk - hearkening back to Trinam's Serval ancestry - and ended up with morse code for markings - hearkening back to Trinam's Serval and Bengal Cat ancestry.

I would classify this look as "Mom... It's red. I don't... Isn't my black pair clean? Or... or the gray?... Can I wear a really long t-shirt, then?"
