Zero is a very lazy and grumpy young man, who works as an assistant with Fuyuki on her comics. He loathes Fu's boyfriend and makes a show of being extra lazy around him.

Along with his best friend Anton, he follows Fu into the most dire of situations, but usually just to laugh at her when things go bad. That aside, they are very good friends and look out for her in the end.
