As is often the case the origin of his Incubus side is foolish youth toying where they had no business, a night of pleasure at a high cost. The sacrafice of half his soul to be traded to the clever Succubus creating two creatures linked to both mortal and demonic realms. In the end it was a sort of death, cut off from just hiding back into his normal life he had to embrace his demonic inheritance to live in those shadowy places just at the edge of vision, and discover he was hardly alone there.

The joining with the demonic side didn't have much effect on his personality, even feeding into his playful and facetious sense of humor, people response to discovering his demonic side leads him to be cautious in trusting.

Inccubi and Succubi are demons of the dream realms, their powers are like dreams, unlimited, but they are illusions that fade to nothing upon awakening. His tenuous connection to both allows his illusions to seep into the mortal realm but they will always be stronger in the dark and when emotions are high, the more people buy into the illusion the more real it can become.
