Can't see it very well but he does have two different colored eyes. His right eye is a lighter shade of pink than his left eye is.
He got amnesia one day after a terrible storm at sea washed him into a small pool surrounded by rocks. The waves smashed Thifnar into the rocks and dropped him behind them. When he woke up he was half out of the water and had no idea who he was or how he had gotten into the little cove. It took him a while to get out, and since then he's been trying to recover his memories.

Thifnar loves to be in the open ocean during storms at sea, and can be found swimming around in the thick of it. He gets a huge adrenaline rush as he's tossed about and scream defiance to the storm. He's littered with scars from his various encounters with sharks and such. The scar down his right arm was received from a fishing vessel.

Thifnar often visits an old man who owns a small fishing ship, someone he met shortly after he received amnesia. Thifnar has a massive love and interest in stars and galaxies (space in general), and the old man always tells him stories about the stars, and always shows him pictures of nebulas and such. Thifnar has learned all the constellations and how to navigate at night because of the man. One day when there was a storm a large wave knocked Thifnar over board. In trying to grab onto something to stay on, Thifnar's arm was sliced open on a piece of the ship's railing that needed repair. It later sliced the back of his wing fins when another wave knocked him back onto the ship. Rust from the metal gave Thifnar mild blood poisoning and so after the storm, the fisherman carefully cared for Thifnar till he recovered. Since then Thifnar has done what he could to give the man advanced warning of storms so he could dock and not be out at sea to encounter a storm like that again.

He is a sullen quiet Eeray and doesn't socialize very well. He prefers swimming in open water versus being on land or by shore, He uses his oddly long dew claws to cut fish open before he eats them.
