Junko Kakuo is a young lady-princess from the planet Aetas in the Concurus System, due to be married off when she finds a suitor. Her small province is practically unknown, in spite of her father looking to conquer the whole planet just to prevent her from becoming some macho lord-prince's wife, instead to actually transfer power to her. Her eccentric (for Aetians, anyway) love for science is keeping suitors away and buying her father precious time.
