The son of Miroslav Cherubim, a renowned physicist, and Eden Cherubim, one of the core members of Illusory, Rufus Cherubim is a young Phantasian man who, despite his high-powered family connections to the Seraphim Limited Liability Corporation, prefers to live a simple life in respect of his deceased parents.

His world, the Concurus System, suffered a break in reality that resulted in creatures called SABERs being dragged from a video game world into the real world. This event, called the Reconfiguration, is often blamed on his father, because he was working on a project intended for a similar purpose, and his mother often gets a lot of flak too for creating such a dangerous world. And because both are deceased, most people go after him. He's already had riots outside of his house.

Because of the hatred towards him and his family, Rufus has become an incredible shut-in, often emerging from his house only to work or get supplies. He also has a tendency to be decidedly apathetic, if he's not focused on something.

This character is actually the whole reason I moved from FurAffinity to here, since he was stolen. I managed to fight off the thief, but ultimately it became too dangerous for me to post on FA in fear of more theft. Which is why I'm here. He's part of the Saber's Edge franchise, one of my own creations.
