Personality-wise, what you see is what you get. Alex never emotes strongly, which makes him come off as aloof. In school, he was known for being quiet and studious, but not much else. He can lead or follow others equally well, but in either case prefers to have someone above him to give a general sense of direction; without which, he lacks initiative.

His hobbies tend to be quiet, but mentally stimulating. He often reads in his spare time, preferring historical non-fiction. He also has something of an affinity for the game of go, and to a lesser extent chess.

Miranda is his twin sister.

Alex (being first un-named, then oh-so-uncreatively named after myself) was actually the first character I ever created, back around 2006 or so. Originally he was pure-tiger, but soon after I added the rabbit and fox aspects for a more interesting design, which has remained otherwise consistent through his lifetime.

He was also my original fursona, and his aloof personality was a reflection of how I saw myself at the time. At one time, I had planned on trying to do a webcomic involving him and his sister. While that hasn't ("yet") panned out, the ideas I started having for him in my head made me decide that he had become too much of his own character to really be "me."
