Hanwell is an ancient Fire elemental which has a soft spot for the mortal realm. He devotes himself more to protecting the more frail realm of the mortals.

Hanwell's "Awakened" form is the former body of the former fire Elemental Ignitus, who Hanwell devoured. He defeated the insane former elemental, and discovered that the fire elementals eventually succumb to their enormous power, and go insane from it.

The only thing that Hanwell wants is to live out a human life, he believed that he was human when he was a child, having grown up in an orphanage.

His baby form is not shown because he's literally a fireball.
