AKA grapedrank. Has feathers, dense fur, and scales. Can lay eggs but only once every 50 years and only 3 eggs. The eggs are laid at the bottom of the sea, but can only hatch in the sun. For this reason there are no others of this species known. Usually hides in the sea or on uninhabited islands. Has no gills and breathes air but can hold its breath weeks. Strictly carnivorous and only eats live prey. Eyes change appearance and color often. "Whiskers" are used to grab onto prey and pull it into its mouth. Doesn't happen often, but if it arrives on an inhabited area of land it will rampage and cause mass destruction. It likes a variety of food and will eat people and land animals when given the opportunity, as it grows bored with seafood. If it finds a ship, the entire crew is often eaten or drowned and the ship is sunk.
