Jiang is a Chespin and human hybrid, and a part of the PokeBoy Squad, in the Tattoo side-series. He is the first created outside of Mateo, and is tied for the youngest with two other Pokeboys.

PERSONALITY / COMMUNICATION

Jiang holds his place as the most timid, shy, and generally 'nice' of the group. He barely posses the mindset to hurt a fly. Still, he is not defenseless, and is more than capable of putting up a good fight- albeit, not nearly as much as the other Pokeboys.

Like Dai and Shia, Jiang lives a very 'normal' life for a Pokeboy. He goes to school, he has friends (a modest amount), and he enjoys life like a regular boy would.

Jiang is emotionally attached to Lee, and follows his around everywhere he can. Lee is his best friend. Lee may be quiet, but the feelings are requited. Generally, Jiang is one of the most charismatic, and can weasyl (ha) his way through any situation with charm alone.... without even trying.

Jiang usually hangs the most with the other 12 year old Pokeboys (when he's not with Lee exclusively), and is generally the least troublesome (not much to say when he's hanging out with an ex-theif and a wanna-be badass.)

Jiang is eternally attached to his hat, scared to actually take it off for other people. It gives him a sense of security.

Jiang has a sweet soul, a happy attitude, sprinkled with shy and reclusive moments. He's a major cornerstone for the Pokeboys usually mean and combative natures. He brings them balance.

HISTORY / STORY

Jiang is the first created AND first introduced Pokeboy, outside of Mateo himself. Their meeting was by chance. Jiang had never seen anyone like himself, only heard of the others. Jiang had the first chance to talk directly to Mateo, so he jumped on it.

He approached Mateo and began to pester him with questions about his livelyhood. Mateo was intersted that there was another Pokeboy besides himself, but overall was annoyed by the barrage of questions. Reluctant, he still answered (with half-assed answers). Hopefully if he just answered him, he'd get bored and leave.

But Jiang grew attached. They didn't go to the same school, but Jiang still made the effort to traverse the city to hang out with Mateo nearly daily.

Soon, a few Umera's launched a small-scale attack against the city. Mateo was forced to jump into action. Jiang was of minimal help. Mateo may be strong, but not strong enough to counter an attack of that magnitude (Civil-level EDGE MP aren't exactly much help against monsters that can sense anything.).

Lee had come to help- the Umera's weren't just Mateo's issue. With twice the fighting power as before, they were able to repel the attack. Jiang's life had been directly saved by Lee during the attack, and he became tethered to Lee.

Jiang's presence essentially kept the Pokeboy's together. He may not be a grade-A fighter like Mateo, Lee, or Tager, but he posses other skills that make him a key part of the group.

PHYSIOLOGY / APPEARANCE

The most identifiable trait for Jiang is his hat. His hat is 'woven organic'. It's essentially a part of him, but it still is... well, a hat. It's clothing, regardless. Brown/orangish hair lay under the hat, and strands still peak out of the side.

Jiang's brown skin is heriditary. Even though his Chespin side demands for a lighter, more saturated tone, his mother's heritage is from a land Northwest, that is known for two things; being hardworking and having darker skin tones than the rest of the world. Jiang's mother is an immigrant from this land. This skin tone was passed down from her.

With two large front teeth, the triangles on his face, and a stout little Chespin tail, it's noticeable that he is not fully human; however, it's not something you'd see in him at first glance.

Jiang constantly wears a thick hoodie and a pair of shorts/jeans. The heat doesn't exactly bother him.

He doesn't exactly inherit many physiological traits from being a Chespin. Canonically, Chespin's can take a track to the head and remain unphased- naturally, it's difficult to knock Jiang out.

Jiang is the charismatic little sweetie of the group. He comes from a normal life, and thus brings a bit of normalization to the group. Jiang can honestly be considered the reason why everyone is together; he got the ball rolling.
